About (Dr)MedicineMan

~Welcome to (Dr)MedicineMan!  I am a practicing Emergency Room physician since 2008.  With over 11 years of experience in trauma centers, regional referral hospitals, and community ERs, I’ve treated almost every acute condition under the sun: acute bug killer toxicity and acute water toxicity; heart attacks and strokes; brain hemorrhages and rectal hemorrhages; dislocated shoulders, ankles and elbows; gunshot wounds to the head, chest, and abdomen; acute psychosis, mania, and suicidality; collapsed lungs; dangerously low heart rhythms and dangerously fast heart rhythms.  Impotence and Prolonged Erection.

My goal is to share a bit of what it’s like on “the other side” of medicine using true personal cases and stories from the ER.  Additionally, I hope you can learn a thing or two that may help you recover when you have a minor medical issue at home.  And finally, I hope to discuss some current “hot topics” and issues facing medicine today.
